Does nursing work deplete nurses’ well-being?

In this virtual debate hosted by the Journal of Research in Nursing, Buurtzorg founder Jos de Blok and colleagues opposed the proposition that loss of wellbeing is a natural facet of nursing work and that though the systemic and organisational environments in which nurses work is failing to enable them to replenish emotionally and psychologically, it need not be so.
